Escape Rooms in Education: Showcase and celebration of practice
Escape Rooms in Education: Showcase and celebration of practice
June 9, 2023 @ 7:00 am – 8:00 pm
Escape rooms are rising in prominence within education and whilst colleagues have shared their experiences at conferences, we wanted a dedicated online event to showcase and champion their use across the sector. So, we have put together an exciting line-up of keynote talks, workshops and shared practice sessions with colleagues across education into one long day (a FOMO free space).
The event will run on Friday the 9th of June 2023, and is open to all and there is no registration fee. The global event will kick off from 7:00 AM BST with a mix of synchronous and asynchronous sessions so feel free to dip in and out across the day. All sessions will be delivered online with live sessions taking place in Microsoft Teams.
Over the day you will have the chance to hear from experienced colleagues regarding the supporting pedagogical approaches, how to design a room, how to the build the room in a digital environment and also the chance to experience a digital escape room for yourself. We hope the event will be an informative but fun and light-hearted end to the academic year.
