Resources for Inspiring Learning

The LTA offers a suite of resources to support the development of practice and promote engagement with inspiring teaching and learning.
These resources include our Watt Works Quick Guides and Activity Sheets, our resource designed for those new to teaching, In At The Deep End, and our Supporting Student Learning Online Toolkit.

Responsive Blended Learning

Responsive Blended Learning (RBL) combines active, supported online learning with contextually appropriate face-to-face learning opportunities, responding dynamically to the changing external context. This approach enables students to proceed with their studies alongside their peers, whatever pandemic-related restrictions are lifted or imposed in specific contexts. The resource suite will support the implementation of this approach, building on the existing work to Support Student Learning Online.

New to teaching

Our ‘New to teaching’ resources are here to support you whether you’re just starting out in teaching or looking to refresh your skills.

Scholarship of Teaching and Learning

Our Scholarship of Teaching and Learning (SoTL) resources have been written to support you. The guides introduce you to concepts in SoTL, the steps needed to complete a SoTL project, opportunities for dissemination, and some of the challenges you might face when you carry out a SoTL enquiry. We also explore SoTL as educational leadership, and why we should take an evidence-based approach to strategic decisions about teaching and learning.
