Heriot-Watt’s learning and teaching strategy “Inspiring Learning” articulates the steps we are taking to offer a unique globally connected learning experience for our students. We aspire for our students to be Global Changemakers, who will have the capabilities, curiosity, and sense of purpose to address the global challenges of our time.   

Take the opportunity to hear from and discuss with, keynote speakers and members of our HW community how to best support our students and graduates to flourish as Global Changemakers.  

In addition to the keynote sessions, the conference offers a rich programme of sharing practice sessions, roundtable discussions, and opportunities to meet and connect with colleagues online and in-person.

Access to the conference sessions

All conference sessions other than the keynotes will be held on MS Teams and are open to Heriot-Watt staff only. The sessions can be accessed via the Sharepoint L&T conference site. (requires HW login).

Keynote sessions will be recorded and will be presented via Zoom. Other online events will be hosted on Teams. 

We try to ensure our sessions are accessible for everyone attending them.  If you are attending a session and the platform on which it is being hosted is not accessible for you please let us know so that we can make alternative arrangements. 

Keynotes are open to everyone and can be booked via Eventbrite.
