How can a programme focused approach to assessment and feedback help a programme leader bring cohesion between module and programme ILOs?
This session will feature a panel of Assessment and Feedback Experts led by Dr Kimberly Wilder-Davis, University of Glasgow
In recent years there has been a growing interest in universities promoting a more holistic approach to assessment and feedback. This programme-focused approach to assessment and feedback provides opportunities to support students so that they better understand how to move through their programme study and help equip them with the skills needed to be self-regulated learners both within the programme and beyond. This session will feature a panel of assessment and feedback experts from across the sector outlining the benefits and potential stumbling blocks to a more integrated approach to A&F.
The panel will include Dr Alex Buckley, Heriot Watt University and Mr Bryden Stillie, Edinburgh Napier University.
The session will open up opportunity for discussion and sharing practice, challenging programme leaders to consider how a programme focused approach to assessment and feedback can strengthen not only the programme team, but the student experience.
