Exploring micro-credentials and digital badges – staff event

We are excited to launch the “Exploring micro-credentials and digital badges” collaborative cluster, led here at Heriot-Watt University by Anne Tierney and Robin Westacott. We are looking at the potential benefits, challenges and value of micro-credentials to higher education in Scotland. Our approach is to collect data via a survey, followed by series of stakeholder events to discuss micro-credentials in more depth.

Our first event is aimed at finding out what university staff perceptions of micro-credentials are. We would love to hear from academics, professional services and senior management, with a range of experiences.
