Overview
The theme for this year is Spaces, Places and Communities of Learning. This University-wide event will explore the landscapes we teach and learn within. Digital and physical spaces are increasingly intertwining, opening new opportunities – and new challenges – for teaching and learning. Making effective and creative use of these diverse spaces is key to inspiring learning.
Participants will have an opportunity to explore the diverse spaces we work within and the learning communities that bring these places to life.
The keynote lecture, Bringing your teaching to life: practical tips to inspire learning, will be presented by Prof Sally Brown and Prof Phil Race.
The lecture was hosted on our Edinburgh campus and live-streamed to all locations and to online participants.

The rest of the day centres on a series of ‘Open Door’ sessions, workshops and events across the campuses, to allow colleagues to share their teaching practice, insights and experience with others.
